Ellensburg Announces Stormwater Workshop, Road Closures

🔊 Listen · narrated by Aiden

The City of Ellensburg will host a Stormwater Standards Update workshop on September 30, according to a Sept. 15 news alert. The workshop aims to inform residents about recent updates to the city's stormwater management standards.

Pearl Street will be closed between 3rd Avenue and 4th Avenue from 8 a.m. Sunday, September 20, until 10 a.m. Monday, September 21. Tree removal on University Way, east of Alder Street, may cause brief eastbound delays starting September 21.

The city also launched a new Historic Landmarks Story Map on September 14, allowing residents to explore the city’s historic districts digitally. A public comment period for Chapter 2 of the Comprehensive Plan opened September 8, with comments due by an unspecified date.
