I-405, I-5, and SR 4 lane closures begin this week

Starting Friday night, Aug. 28, up to three lanes of northbound I-405 will close from the Northeast 85th Street on-ramp to Northeast 100th Street until 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 31. A signed detour will be in place.

State Route 4 will see a single lane closed in both directions between 50th Avenue (milepost 56.4) and 42nd Avenue (milepost 57.2) weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday, Sept. 11, for buried gas main line work. The right lane of State Route 99 will close from 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, to Tuesday, Sept. 1, for utilities work.

I-5 will have single-lane reductions nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Sept. 4 near Alger/Lake Samish Road (exit 240) and north of North Lake Samish (exit 246) for fish passage construction. More details are available on the WSDOT project webpage.
