I-405, SR 203, and SR 96 work begins

Starting Monday, July 27, multiple road closures and lane alternations will begin across Ellensburg area highways for construction and utility work.

I-405 will have up to two southbound lanes closed nightly from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. through July 31 between mileposts 18.11 and 16.45. State Route 203 will have one lane closed nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. through July 31 between mileposts 12.53 and 23.20. State Route 96 will alternate traffic daily from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. through July 31 between mileposts 4 and 6.

Drivers should expect delays and use alternate routes when possible. WSDOT will provide updates through their website and mobile alerts.
