Vantage Bridge, US 2 Closures Begin Sept. 8

Starting Tuesday, Sept. 8, WSDOT will implement single-lane closures, reduced speeds, and width restrictions on the Vantage Bridge near Ellensburg. The project spans from milepost 136 to 138 in both directions, with eastbound restrictions beginning at Exit 110 and westbound at Exit 149. Work will continue until Oct. 15, 2026.

Other projects include a one-day paving project on US 2 near Orondo on Sept. 8, a 10-day repaving project on Chumstick Highway from Sept. 8 to 25, and single-lane closures on Snoqualmie Pass for bridge maintenance Sept. 8-10. Detours and pilot cars will be used during some projects.
